  • bus does fine in the winter..., small electric heater has to be on low or it gets too hot. windows do suck but, they do the job.

  • Bus was very insulated from blue-bird. i added foam insulation under wood paneling. tear out floor? your nuts!

  • Thanks Longxrider, still need to update this video / make a new one...

  • 2 years, give or take. Bus has progressed a little. i removed two leafs from front springs. very nice exhaust, richer injectors. i need to update this post!

  • I don't understand to convert a school bus the right way you need to pull off the metal from the ceiling, walls and the black mat from the floor to the real floor to do it the right way. Empty cavities get insulated and new floor, then pull all the bus windows and put in regular windows that you can open all the way like louvered. Insulated right you won't get cold in winter or hot in summer. Research is needed visit Rolling Homes .org

  • Why in the world would you buy a school bus and not insulate it right? If you were to buy a house would you put insulation on the drywall ceiling and walls? Sounds like something you would do. When you should pull off the drywall and insulate the cavities first. Same as school buses you pull off all the metal from the ceiling and walls take up the floor to the bare metal then, insulate with spray in foam. You'll get very cold in the winter if you do it the wrong way. Research Rolling Homes

  • So how long did the build take? Looks good!

  • DRIVE IT ON VEGGIE... be sure veggie is 170 degrees or hotter or you will mess up the 6.2 diesel injector pump

  • sweet bus. looks like great fun, thanks for sharing
