He must have meant "even later" in the future!
To be honest- I think it's ridiculous how vague he was. I might one day be lying on my deathbed and hear his voice- "Hi! I am seeing you here!... Here!.... in the future!"
Maybe he was being more sinister than that- maybe he has already seen us. He might have been obscurely ambiguous. -Technically he COULD have meant "I'll see you there...there...in the future..(but you won't see me)"
Well that IS creepy...
