I like Alan's voice much better :), just saying.

@highstrung78357 It's a shame you can't spell his name correctly from sentence to sentence. "Jelous"? "Jelousy"? Also a shame you can't spell basic words properly, either.

Alan Price was always wonderful! Talented composer and pianist - unique sound. Just watch "O Lucky Man"! I loved him from the moment I saw the film when it was originally released. Not a "great" singer (my family are opera singers) but his sound is so much "his" it is wonderful!

Having seen Alan Price perform this number at a live performance last week, I have to say that this early version lacks the intensity of both that performance and the original by the Animals, with Eric Burdon on vocals. Having said that, Alan Price still remains an excellent vocalist and performer on piano and keyboard. Well worth seeing him when on tour.

This is a very good version. No more to say on the matter.
Though I definetly prefer the 1964 version with Eric as lead singer this version is good.

Im sorry all you Alan Price fans but, this just goes to show how green with envy he was, I think he was jelous of Eric. Eric by far has a much better voice than Allen. What a shame Eric was never able to do the song the he originally did for a long time because of jelousy and greed. What a shame.
