I was there in 2006. Very beautiful, laid back island. Spent a week there and then a week in Tikal, Guatemala.

Crazy they should do like in Sark in the Channel Islands ban all motor vehicles, rent out bycycles and walk, theyv'e ruined the place and I'm sure the ordinary Belizeian still gets nothing from it but polloution!

This is sad to see in a way. Now there is more and more traffic here in San Pedro. No feeding crocs anymore either. Frozen chicken can kill them. So many deals to buy here now and few buyers as of June 2009.
