  • laurenek, i absolutely love all your videos as a fellow divo fan. i was curious as to whether or not you have any videos of the individual divo members before the group was started. it would be interesting to see their solo work. thank you for sharing this mangificent music...david is truly gifted.

  • Sorry, I don't have anything that I have filmed myself. All I've seen are the bits and pieces that everyone else has seen.

  • @RonaldReaganRocks1 you are really comparing Corelli with Miller?

  • @RonaldReaganRocks1 you think?

  • @hansquad Sorry, but I've got to disagree with you. Miller is way better. Corelli is a little sloppy and lacking in energy. He doesn't fill out the notes the way Miller does.

  • David touches every single heart with his voice. That´s the right way...thanks for that and kisses.

  • @RonaldReaganRocks1

He has a very nice voice, but the best voice on the internet? no. So long as Corelli and other recordings are still on the internet.

  • the cross over ones, when he sang Nessun dorma with Michael Bolton (!). Not truly opera, not truly pop. And I think opera and pop deserve equal respect. So, wth a voice trained for opera, you can sing, of course, opera, lied, chanson, songs (also from classical musical), operetta, canzoni. But leave pop to the pop singers. Il Divo is a pop phenomenon; David Miller is a pop singer with a pleasant tenor voice. Don't dare too much! And greetings from Italy!

  • don't even think so. Why I should think you're an ignorant fan of Il Divo? i think the question is wider than David Mller's attitude to sing lyric roles on stage. The question is if it's corret that opera today is mostly known and publicized through singers like him and Vittorio Grigolo, Katherine Jenkins (who, fortunately, does not sing on stage. Not in oera, just in concert) and Andre Bocelli. They all descend from the last Pavarotti performances....

  • @whatsherface1015 oh yeah I know, but there he must be in a place open to so what you need.

  • @notediluce21 The Three Tenors, when they performed as such, were actually more of a pop group than a group of opera singers. In traditional opera, no microphone is used. The hall itself is the amplifier. One of the things opera singers learn to do is to amplify their voices so that they can be heard across a crowded opera house, as they would have done since the 17th century. Soooo no, all singers do not use microphones.
