Interestingly enough, as pointed out in this clip, having openly gay service members does not affect unit cohesiveness. In fact, the younger generation serving today may not actually have a problem with serving with openly gay service members; a starch contrast to what top brass has been preaching.

  • @OEFvet1986 But their view if obviously wrong when common logic and reason is applied, so there's no need to defend their grotesque actions.

  • @The22flames It depends on what perspective you view it from. The "asshole soldiers" view homosexuals as a threat to the honor, integrity and combat readiness of the military. But if the gay or lesbian soldier does not tell anyone they are homosexual and does not let it effect their job then there is no problems from either side. The military is not a "gay-friendly" environment its just the fact of the matter.

  • @OEFvet1986 But whose fault is that? The gay soldier, or the asshole soldiers who outcast him/her?

  • this guy sounds so stupid. does he not realize that not every gay man is a flamer? ive seen tons of gay men that could easily kick the ass of over a third of the us military. jeeze...

  • @funk7000

i never said they were less normal than anyone else.. i know that they are not.. i happen to have the pleasure of knowing some gay guys and they were exceptional human beings... i love them like my own brother.. some times more so.... i just mentioned bad taste to this person who had said " fuck duncan hunter" that is all...

  • As a army infantryman who has fought in afghanistan i can tell everyone that the repeal of dont ask dont tell will be horrable for gays serving in combat units. They should of just kept the old policy. I have seen it personally what happens when a combat unit discovers a homosexual among them and unit combat readiness suffers because of it. Also the gay soldier becomes a outcast and at times there safety is at risk.

  • No more-DADT repeal is moving in the Senate McCain the homobe can't stop it.

  • "ppl are better when they can be open with who they are" he says. That's his first blunder comment right there. Homosexuality is no more an identity than a fat person who craves junk food rather than healthy food. It's a behavior NOT an identity. But most of you can't see that because you're all oproducts of Pavlonian/Skinner style brainwashing

  • Where's the proof that the Spartan's were homos? And what century are we living in now? Is he willing to admit that the homosexuality that took place during ancient civilizations almost alwasy revolved around pederasty? This guys is making irrelavant arguments.

  • @sub0414 homosexuals are not abnormal. They are experiencing a sexualized arrested development, therefore NOT less human, rather just not living up to or striving to their full human potential.
