Parson Street 25.7.09

A rare glorious summers day in the suburbs of Bristol! Myself, Zac and Dan find ourselves on the 'unattrictive' footbridge of Malago Vale Estate, in Parson St.
We came here for a charter, but this video contains all the general passenger Traffic, including a shot from Oldfield Park, several from the footbridge and a few from the station.
150s, 158s, Voyagers, FGW/XC/NXEC HSTs all included. Several 2tones to close the video, which is nice!

Are the NQY services run by NEX for XC, or are they operated as a NEX service? I was just wandering if station announcements said Cross Country or National Express when the train approached the station etc.

They are operated as a Cross Country service. XC hire a set in, every summer, to cover for holiday periods between May-August.
