yeah I ment black not big :P hey it was like 7 in the morning when i replied back
-
assuming you meant "black" in place of that first "big"..
that statement *on its own* is not really racist, there were certainly enough media commentators pointing out America's first Black President. I don't know what else was going on in the conversation. there are people in the United States who, to this day, still don't know what "racism" is. racism ranges from stupid to disgusting to evil, but the content and intent of the sentence is important.

I said and I quote.
"Ok so now we have a big president big deal as long as he does a good job i don't care what he does."
-
okay, but how did you say it?
-
Yeah well the day Obama was sworn into office i got called a racist because i said ok so we now have a black president big deal :P

Nonsense. If your conscience is clear, you shouldn't have a problem.
I don't know what's happening in your area, but you can disagree with the President's policies and not be a racist. When you start bringing race into, because race is NOT an issue, then you've got a problem. You're CREATED a problem.
HE IS NOT BLACK..... He is only half black!!! If you are white, and were to be racist against him, you were also racist against yourself.... This is such bullshit!
I don't care about his color... He is just a poor choice for the presidency. Not choice for the leader of the "Free World" Reagan was the type of true leader this nation needs again.

Well first I never once said I was racist against him...2 I know he is half black. 3 I wished there was another candidate like Regan in office then the country could prosper again.

The only reason race is an issue, is because of the media. All sides. They need something to report, and get ratings. That's it.
I don't agree with some of Obama's policies, but, unfortunately, in a 2 party structure... I had to pick the less of the two evils.
Sure, I could have voted "independent". But who in the hell knows anyone from the independent party?
No one!
Because they don't have millions of dollars backing them up. No mass media coverage.
I think this is the real problem.
