BILLY JACK ORIGINAL TV ADS - TESTIMONIAL #2
This is one of the original commercials created by Tom Laughlin (Billy Jack) for the 1973 re-release of his film 'Billy Jack' (the film was originally released by Warner Brothers in 1971 to surprising success). There was a series of commercials, which we will post here (stay tuned), that all featured similar elements, most notably the musical tag of the song 'One Tin Soldier'.
Estimates place the number of tickets sold for 'Billy Jack' at well over 50,000,000 -- back at a time when there were 50,000,000 fewer people in the country. It was an enourmous hit that enjoyed record-breaking repeat business. People would come back over and over to see the film. These testimonials interviewed some of those people at a theater after they had seen the movie... again.
