This is how to play the jack's Mannequin song Meet me At my Window.

Alot of people have been wanting to learn to how to play this song, so i sat down and realized how easy it was. this is the second video, with a better view of the right hand and more explanation of what keys to use.
The first video was used @ jacksmannequin.org solely, and you should check out this awesome site.

All props go to Andrew and Jack's Mannequin for writing/Playing the song.

If u have any questions feel free to post and i'll answer them.

Updated 12/11/07 - I did have a note wrong in here and will be uploading a new video soon to xplain the change. I would love to hear some more covers of this song.
~Just give credit to me for teaching u the song

  • "The Parkas" i hate to say it but Andrew Plays in the Key of E Major. D# is the correct note. if it doesn't sound right your piano needs a bit of tuning. And i was actually backstage with him about 2 months ago and i played the song for him and he just laughed at me, because he gets alot of mail about that song. He was joking how he shouldhave just wrote the song in the key of A, but it just didn't sound right.

  • I'm not arguing the key. the chord behind that particular note is E major, and he hits the seventh. it's a D i'm telling you. play it side by side, and you'll see.

  • YOur right. i'll update this soon!

  • lol. thats alot to remember! do you happen to have the actual sheet music for it?? but thanks that was great.

  • All done by ear. No sheet music for it.

  • in the beginning, it's not

    [G#,E,D#]

    it's

    [G#,E,D]

    no sharp.

i'm seriously not trying to be rude, like this is really good. just that one little mistake.

  • Great! Just where you play a D sharp in the right hand it should be a D
