@EdgarImpact Imagine if Broly had trained like Goku and Vegeta. He would presumably have his own versions of SSJ3 and SSJ4, e.g. LSSJ3 and LSSJ4.

@tivens12 Broly Is in a complete league of his own, during that series he isnt beat by simply one person. Goku cant beat him on his own. Broly is more powerful then goku if thats what you were asking.

@EdgarImpact Well,the fact is Goku made him awake for days.That cry get in his mind,imagine yourself awake for days and days,no sleep,just because someone cries whole time.So,Broly's mind remember it,and his violence and dark nature made him with strong desire to kill that person,Kakarot.

@jsk8drummer Well it's not like Freeza had ever seen a Super Saiyan ever, all he had was the LEGEND passed down from Generation to Generation, to him it's not less significant because he didn't know about Broly. Regardless, Bardock and Goku as well as the rest of the SSJs are still considered SUPER SAIYANS, since it was so rare, it was considered LEGENDARY. Broly is different since he is considered only being LSSJ not SSJ. From what I gather LSSJ>SSJ2 ,but LSSJ<SSJ3,

@jsk8drummer Whoops sorry bout that, anyways, the split time line theory would occur however, I think it's safe to assume that the original would be Bardock going back in time, the second would be a time line where he never went back, therefore Freeza and his family would not have feared the saiyans, so who knows what would have happened. What is told in the manga is that Chilleds last words were for his subordinates to tell his relatives to fear a species called saiyan whos hair turns blonde.
