Marshall say this is limited edition, but I can see these being made for a few years to come. It's just like the limited edition class 5-the white one with the target on the front. They said that was limited only but I've seen them in shops for a few years.

These amps are really are too expensive. Firstly, they can't be that good, considering they've only got 2 controls which can't really make them that fun to play as they can't really cover any styles except classic rock. 1 watt can only be used in a bedroom situation really and as long as something sounds good, it doesn't matter that much what it looks like. Marshall think you're gonna be gigging these? No way.All you're paying for is the different features. A Blackstar is the way to go.

I got a Vox night train and I wouldn't exchange it for a dozen of Marshall

@zonk391 :) just from your information the marshall designer who designed the original JTM45 left from marshall and started making hes own amps NAMED blackstar and after he left marshall amps started getting worse and a lot of true musiciacs say that after he left marshall just isnt it its just comertial bussines lot of your favurite guitarists would use avatar amps and wizard amps also orange amps but marshall pays them 1000000000000000000000000000 dollars a day to show marshalls on stages :)

Overpriced, that's all i can say. Fantastic sound though!
You can go with the Blackstar ht1. Also check out the Blackheart killer ant, should cost around €130 (£110).

I very nearly ordered the jmp head but I'm glad I didn't after hearing this, it sounds shite

@slysendice Well... you can be "pretty sure" all you want. I saw another clip here on the tube and the marshall rep said that the 1 watters (all of them) were the start of many things to come.
When I first heard about and saw these I thought, great, I want them all.
Then the penny dropped and I feel Marshall at the end of last year bumped up the prices of there whole range to try and justify mad prices for these.
A JTM1H for £479 with two knobs, yeah right.
You can bet your life each one that comes along will be £30 to £50 more than the last.
Lets jump to next year once they have stopped selling these, anyone want to bet the prices of the rest of the range comes back down?
