Half the ways to die in Space Quest 3: the Pirates of Pestulon.

Sorry about not having music in this but since there are many sounds, in game musics and the death messages each have music, I had to leave that out.

  • Wait, where's the part where you forgot to shoot the wall before flying out?!

  • @capthorn2 That's Space Quest 1. You go anywhere without shooting in Space Quest 3.

  • Maybe you can download it from abandonware paradise. Use google or yahoo or etc. to find the site then when at abandonware paradise, use the search there for space quest.

  • I don't do abandonware, it seems wrong to me. However, I found the CD and can now do the video. It'll be up real soon.

  • You forgot to add the death of falling off the conveyer belt. The message before the death message is different from the message after falling off the rail.

  • Thank you for pointing it out, but I unfortunately lost the CD for the game and I can't play it without. I may find it later but in the meantime, if anyone has the CD and can check this death out and post it as a video response, I'd appreciate it.

  • Why is the picture on the death screen with the Slime Devil a picture of Roger when he was alive?

  • Monolith Burgers

    FTW!!

I think wether or not abandonware is wrong depends on if the game is still being sold and on how old it is.

If it's not being sold, well you ain't really taking away anyone's profit, right? After all no one is SELLING it. This one is a no brainer anyone should be able to agree with far as I'm concerned.

I personally also think that making all games about a decade old and older abandonware as many software companies actually DO, is the right thing to do too. But that's how I feel.

  • I played this when it first came out in 1990..(or was it 1991), anyhoo. Its still my favorite Amiga game.

  • @MrWhitman You can buy the old titles (Space Quest and King's Quest) at Good Old Games (gog.com)
