Eduardo Da Silva - Recovery

Arsenal striker Eduardo Da Silva suffered a Double Compound Fracture on Saturday February 23rd 2008 after an unfortunate tackle by Birmingham defender Martin Taylor. Eduardo should be back playing football in 9 months to a year. He has a tremondous attitude, "It's part of the game" he said in an interview after.

i'm practicing medicine, 3rd year and we've found in studies that the bone actually fuses in these situations (after healing), and is actually better than before, but it must heal straight for this to happen. so therefore, it will be better than before

the English broke his leg to get back at Croatia for knocking them out of Euro 2008 and sothat we wouldn't win because we could have won with Eduardo. Now they broke Modric's leg and they broke Kranjcar's ankle before alreadybefore the England games so thatwe would lose to them it's all a set up watch when they lose on purpose in Ukraine or if we don't make it to South Africa by losing in the second round qualifiers you'll see I was right. when i broke my ankle i had to wait an hour and a half for an ambulance. it was then many hours before i had my operation. glad to know that there is equality of treatment in this country.

martin taylor should have been banned from football along with any other player who tackles with their feet off the ground.

i agree, taylors tackle was no way technical, it was clumsy and overly aggresive, this was not deliberate but if Taylor did this delibrately he shud be fined and banned for life

as a neutral ( i support portsmouth ) taylor never deliberatly went to break eduardo's leg, eduardo did snatch the ball away at the last second, however i do not think taylors tackle was decent in the slightest, there was no need for stoods showing from an up right position.
