It's actually not straightforward in the sense that they took out the 5/4 time, and replace it with generic, boring 4/4. Even Limp Bizkit could do this song better than U2 Douschery.

Yes, Lalo did write the original theme. However, Adam and Larry re-interpreted it with the help of U2 producer Brian Eno, they gave it a more electronic sound. This version was used in the movies, and Lalo's version was used on the TV show.

clayton and mullen are truly one of the best bass-drum teams on earth, theyre just so in tune with each others style, just as good as bonham and john paul jones, and theyre work here is a testament to that
