A slow movement from the 26th piece of Charles Tournemire's "L'Orgue Mystique" (or "The Mystical Organ"), the one written for Trinity Sunday. To be completely honest, I don't even know when that is, this is just one of my favorite relaxing pieces from my all-time favorite composer.

As for the venue, I was out with my dad and so tagged along for the monthly American Guild of Organists meeting held at the church you see in this video, Christ Church Episcopal Cathedral in Lexington, KY. I was granted a very fun hour of practice on this 51-rank pipe organ built in 1949 by the Holtkamp company. It has a little bit of everything but as you can hear, it certainly lends itself to French Romantic music well. Thought it might be boring without moving the camera around 100 times so I just put it to some photos I took when I got there. Hope you enjoy the brilliant and beautiful music of Charles Tournemire!
