  • This looks like a really excellent DVD to get. My layout is at the scenery stage and I need something just like this to get going on it. To me, a steam locomotive, especially a late-era articulated, isn't weathered until it's got some hard water scale on it. Let's see some white crud on that N&W!

  • @htc6600 You will not find any videos better than these for learning how to do scenery. I shows the techniques I used to build my layout and took over a year to produce. If you don't find what you need in the DVDs, then email me and I'll help you. I originally thought the white was from ash, but later realized it can't be because it was also on the front drivers away fron the ash pan. Now I know what it is really from. Thanks for the info.

  • How about a video giving us a good old-fashioned layout tour with some run-bys, etc. I would like to see some of your scenery in action.

  • @Broncort1

I agree, its time to put all that scenery to work. Part III is in the works and will have what you suggest. Thanks for your input. Rich

  • @Toytrainsontracks what is the size of this layout? 00'x 00', it looks also that your min curve is 0 72, what is you min switch? I'm going to build a 0 scale layout and I was wondering how do you build such wide spaces and be able to reach it, I see you have access hatches but still in all some area's look to be over 6 feet wide... thanks

  • @markryan1963 The layout is 32'x13' and uses minimum O-72 curves including switches. Most of my switches are larger #6s and some #4s. The access points can reach any part of my layout within 3ft. Some of the platform is removable on top to get better access to hard to reach places. Thanks again for buying the videos, I think they will answer all of your questions and many more you haven't thought of yet. Enjoy!
