  • for years I wondered what the name of this track was. I remember they used it in my country's T.V station as an opening track. I was very little but I would hear it everyday. For years I wanted to know who was the artist. And finally some thirty years later I,ve found it. YES!!!!!!!! this is music from when music WAS music!

  • @DerekNebel There is a big difference between flugelhorn and a trumpet. You can hear if something is played by a trumpet or a flugelhorn within a second, because they sound completely different. A flugelhorn has a much softer, rounder and warmer sound than a trumpet, which is sharper and more direct. The solo in this particular piece requires a flugehorn, because it doesn't sound as good with a trumpet. The same that other pieces require a trumpet, because they don't sound good with a flugelhorn

  • @DerekNebel They're both called guitars. If I use your analogy, it's like saying a Trombone is a different type of trumpet, simply because the word "Trombone" means "large trumpet". Which it isn't just like a flugelhorn isn't. They're related, but not the same instrument at all.

  • @TheYtml well to compare it to something that i'm familiar with: i play the electric and acoustic guitars, people classify a guitarist as either an acoustic or electric guitarist, even considering they are the same instrument.
