A little piece of video evidence showing that Standardbred horses CAN canter. This is a 3y/o gelding, newly broken to saddle. He is of world-class pacing bloodlines. This little guy is the epitome of Standardbred: loyal, honest, intelligent and with a heart of gold. He always gives 100% during every workout and will give anything a try. I think we can learn a lot from him - if you've never experienced the love and honesty of a Standardbred, perhaps you should consider this truly 'undiscovered' breed. Talent and versatility without the fizz....Can't beat a Standy! The world is catching on, but feel free to share with those a little left behind!
