@m1i2r3i4a5m6wolpert I would suggest 2-4 if you've never had rats. They're easy to take care of, but more rats means more to clean up, more food to buy, etc. 2 is good, 3 is better, 4 is best. (Not to be morbid but...) As rats age some will pass away sooner than others, and when you have more than 2 you ensure that one won't be left alone until you can get another one to keep him/her company. I have 2 boys right now and I'm getting 2 more this weekend :)

This is a great video! I'm planning to adopt a pair of males, I hope I can teach them tricks like this.

So cute, I love Wally!
I have a rat called Wee Mouse and I'm halfway through teaching him to spin!
what food do you treat em with? the yogurt drops i use are so big that Claciphur (cal-si-fur) just has enough of it after he has eaten half of it

@FangsShadow; I use rice krispies (the cereal). it's really small and hollow so they finish it in one bite, then keep coming back for more! ;D good luck training.

@angelo69jes, repetition and treats! just like you'd teach a dog, really.
