You should be scrubbing in a back and forth motion when using the chloraprep because that action gets into the tissue layers. Rubbing around in a circle is not the way to do it.
Guys- if you want to cover your port scars, try Dermaflage. It fills in indented scars and totally conceals them. Works as long as your scar is indented and not too raised.
@Bailey44422 it's sore the day u get it put in, but after that ur good. the needle going in during chemo does hurt a bit, but the shouldgive u this cream to numb the area where port is. i been on chemo for 2weeks now and it blows hard core. if u u don't mind me asking but what type cancer u got?
my daughter is 1 year and 9 months. On a Leukemia t-cell treatment since last 5 months. The central line got displaced twice within 21 days and second one within 48 hours. Looking for port as an option. Hope it works.
