It's sped up... The station travels at around 17,500MPH. What I found interesting in this video is that this is the exact path (from KSC) that the shuttle had to launch and follow to catch up to the ISS. It gives you a perspective on how the shuttle would follow up the east coast after launch.

The lightning at the end illuminating the metal of the station is crazy. Really puts the distance to scale.

@ErikjStudios But that's why our oil is so cheap, cause we produce so much of it! WAIT, nope...America taxes the fuck out of it and all the profit goes directly to multi -National oil companies that make billions upon billions in profit every year. I've always thought that the people should get a cut of the profit from THEIR own natural resources...but I guess that would make me some type of Communist. ALL HAIL THE "FREE" MARKET !
