I am looking to buy a Peter Lynn Hornet kite because lots of people have recommended them to me. I am a complete beginner and i am looking for a kite to start out on and progress to an intermediate level. If i could i would like to mountain board with the kite. I weigh 70kg and i'm still growing. I am thinking of buying the Peter Lynn Hornet 3m or 4m.
do u have any advice.

what's your weight because I'm looking for one too and I need to know how much square meters I should have my weight is 52kilo's (goddam I'm light as a feather)
With your weight this kite will easily lift you from the ground.
It lifts me just fine and i'm about 82kilos =)

Have fun, it's a hell of a kite!

That depends on where you'll be flying the kite, and what winds you'll be expecting
(will you be using a mountainboard/buggy?)
You weigh about the same as my girlfriend (no offence ;) )and even with medium winds the 4 square meters drag her around without remorse!
If you'll only be flying inlands, with lighter winds, it might be your size. But if you're planning on using it at a beach or with stronger winds it will be too big.
I'd recommend 2 or 3 square meters...
