Cathy Jones herself is a Newfoundlander. It's satire, half of this show has Newfoundland comedians. And technically, it was making fun of Mainlanders too for being so ignorant about us in Newfoundland, thinking that we live in igloos and what-not.

i meant funny because these are real stereotypes. I'm from Atlantic Canada, I know the reality of things. But that doesn't mean we can't have a laugh at ourselves and laugh at the way others laugh at us.
