Rural Internet Kiosk enables African participation to connect to the internet and making the dream of one global village a reality. Solar powered kiosks with satellite connectivity realize it.

Rural Internet Kiosk (RIK)
http://www.ruralinternetkiosks.com/
RIK seeks to bridge the digital divide through Internet and telephony kiosks. Using satellite connectivity, solar energy, and an energy-efficient personal computer, each kiosk lets five people work at the same time.
RIK is targeting three billion potential users to empower social innovators in sectors such as education, health awareness, e-governance, communications, and the environment.
