So being sick and bored, waiting for Arild to get back I tried to edit some frags with the PLDX tool - just to try some effects in Vegas + thirdperson - here's the result.
Also, the demo was bugged so I couldnt do anything about the no-viewmodels and custom crosshair - everytime i tried to switch it switched back. So I gave up and put in a picture there instead so you know what class is up playin'.

I dont know whether this would work
But you could edit the moviefiles.cfg (or w/e it's called in the pldx folder) and type at the bottom
r_Drawviewmodel 1
viewmodel_fov 54
and then rightclick the file and select read-only
Dunno whether it would work though
