  • @lutienmin lol what country? I believe she lived in Japan for a while, no? Last time I checked, Japanese people don't even speak English.

  • @MegaBlindsided you think? I graduated from RJC and a UK law school. I have friends from Cambridge, LSE, UCL, Cornell, Columbia, KCL. Are we "English-educated" enough for you? All of us speak with a Singaporean accent, not that strange British-American hybrid-imitation that Olivia Ong puts on. There's a big difference between being "English-educated", and being a self-hating, pretentious Singaporean who wished she was someone she's not.

  • Since Singapore is a multi-racial country, the unique Singaporean accent is a result of exposure and influence from all the different cultures in the country- so it is a natural phenomenon. The English-educated has no problem switching accent if there is a need to.
