Pippin - "Welcome Home" Scene quick run

These are some of the leads (Pippin, Lewis, Charlemagne, Fastrada, Leading Player) in the musical "Pippin" running though their scenes before rehearsal. What good little actors!
(I put this up here 'cause it probably won't make the DVD, but I was just so proud of you all, I had to make it public.)

Haha, I know which part you're talking about. They had only just blocked this scene, and the director wanted to show how Lewis always annoys the King. They had to rework that bit because it obviously doesn't work well here.

Pippin was changed to a girl character. Catherine was Pippin's secrete mother. She sang I guess I'll miss the man about Charlemegne. It kinda made sense.... not really. haha I had the best time playing Pippin even though the way we did the show wasn't the way it was originally written. It was great being on stage for mostly the entire show! :-) I felt very honored playing that role. :-) I will always hold this show closely to my heart. :-)

I'm a girl and I played Pippin in Pippin when I was in 5th grade. I went to a musical theatre school and there was no guys that were talented enough to be Pippin. It was double cast(ed) and in both casts Pippin was played by a girl.

Im sorry, but I think that the man who played Charlemegne's vioce was really terrible for that role.. It almost sounded fake.

haha when my school did this part in the play the younger brother was literally younger and smaller so it made him look more cocky lol.

lol, when my school did this play, pippin was a girl, but she pulled it off and made a really hot guy. I luv fastrada in this play tho. she is awsome ! lol, in my school when the leading player called her untrustworthy she stopped posing and gave him a mean look. Man, i wish i could have seen this tho.
