Summary: Hazel is still upset over the situation at Dale Head. Later, in the village carol service, she becomes irritated as Ashley talks about Christmas miracles and, as her anger rises, she demands that Ashley just be honest -- there are no miracles and if there is a God, he's cruel and unforgiving. As Ashley tries to calm her, she becomes more agitated and decides to leave, throwing a collection bucket at the nativity scene. Seeing the mess she's caused, Hazel is finally overcome with grief and resentment and breaks down. Later, Ashley admits he now realises just what Hazel is going through and wants to donate the church collection to her and Jackson directly. Hazel is touched, but can't accept the grand gesture and decides to put some money towards it herself. However, when a truckload of builders arrive claiming they're here to work on the modifications and they've already been paid for, Hazel is overcome and admits maybe miracles do happen after all.

  • That was freaken amazing!!! Pauline (Hazel) did a tremendous job. I actually cried. I was floored. What a great episode all around! And the kiss!! Always good thing. I've been watching the entire show and I'm amazed at how good the writing is. Sometimes it does feel like I'm watching real people. The subtle reactions and comments that make this all believable.

  • i so love hazel now. she's really a good actress. :)

  • I wish Hazel was my mother-in-law! I'm gay and I dream of being under Jackson's feet ... such a fine gay specimen ..

  • @danilosa05 J: time to make your sharp exit, A: i thought i might stick around. J: what for? A: i need to learn some how dont i? sorry for the late reply :p and he has wet hands because he helped him wash.

  • I <3 when Aaron smiled after he Kissed Jackson, AWWW :*] and even tou Jackson cant feel anythinq, at least he can feel Aaron's lips :p

  • How sweet was that look at 10:19!! I think jackson was really touched that Aaron made the effort. He wants to learn how to help his boyfriend and get past his inability to show affection and love and he truly loves jackson we learned that from his words when Jay was in the coma. If would have three wishes one would be for them to have a happy end :-))

  • Hello, I can not speak English. Can anyone help and tell whether aaron jackson has washed? Or why he has wet hands? I do not understand a word, can someone translate to me that the circuit?

  • Pauline Quirke is amazing in this episode - very moving performance

  • @melshorse I think so too. Maybe they just decided to show the difficulties of people who've just gotten together and how it usually doesn't work out after a serious tragedy. :-(

  • Pauline is awesome. She needs an award for this episode alone.

  • post at 1:04 jackson cute face xD

  • Jackson's emotional venting after the bar visit, then settling down to an eerie normal "get along"

attitude leads me to think this story line will end sadly for J and A.
