You can really see the root of the chinese concepts in kempo when a mster like this is demonstrating. Some of the transistions are reminiscent of Bagua and Hsing I. In fact...there is almost no visible transition in Master Brassard's striking.
this is an excellent video but you can become as good if you practice the basics...neck strike's shuto chops, and all your kata forms just practice practice and practice and you will be verry good ive studied kenpo tae kwon do and kick boxing and i found out that no matter wat style of martial arts you do its just how much effort you put into it so ive been studying martial arts for 8years now and im a 2degree black belt so trust me i kno wat im saying..good luck
@gyromancy2 not just those...any style is good if you apply yourself and become proficient in your art.

I am a Hapkido practitioner, and this style would compliment my current art very well.

I've been studying Shotokan Karate for 28 years, but I've always appreciated Kenpo. A very powerful style. Jim knows his shit.

I'm not going to slam on other styles but Kenpo is very efficent and practical. The focus is on keeping you safe and not show boating.
