Is it possible to experience a sleep apnea if you are really tired: like for example, being awake for 36 hours and did something not exactly stressful but physically tiring within that time span then later go to sleep?

@ibeatpudding Got a new Doc, have a sleep study but only for one night as funding is so limited, but that has to be worth something.

@modzilla732k Find a new doctor. Go get a sleep test and they will be able to examine your sleep habits.

Along with other serious health problems, I have woken up 3 times since Feb this year, either in hospital or in an ambulance on the way. My Doctor refused my proposal of sleep Apnoea as I'm "not morbidly obese".
Iwas told by the last paramedic that his mate runs marathons but has SA.
How do I convince my doctor? The first time was put down to Opiate toxicity as I have chronic pancreatitis&take painkillers, but I was cold, blue, and "dead".
at least 6 times my wife has roused me.
What can I do?

Nice overview of a very serious condition. anyone who thinks they may have OSA, or has been told by a bed partner they gasp or stop breathing while sleeping, should have an evaluation as soon as possible. This can save your life.
