I love the fact that you can hear him breathing, it really puts life into the music and it's one of the reasons I fell in love with Fournier's recordings

I coudn't agree more with you. One of the reasons the Danes are so 'over the moon' happy with their new concert hall is the fact that its acoustic is a 'state of the art'. The musicians as well as the public can hear every sound all over the hall. As you point out: it's a living hall with live music in it.

@mugge62 Tak for videoen! Men... Det du skriver ang. "state of the"-akustik passer da ikke med det indtryk man får af at læse danske aviser - tværimod blev Operahuset jo netop udsat for kritik pga. dårlig akustik, både i publikums- og scene-rummet.

Jeg mente, at efterklangstiden var blevet forbedret allerede i midten af 2010. Både musikere og publikum skulle derpå være blevet meget tilfredse.

Elektronisk set er -så vidt jeg kan dømme på netop denne video fra 2009- i hvert fald PLACERINGERNE af mikrofonerne ok. Der kunne måske forbedres lidt her ved et anderledes valg af mikrofoner med en mere retningsbestemt karakteristik som således kunne udelukke høje nys og host fra publikum. Teknisk muligt!
