  • @1960markN Origionally it was simply called the "Dulcimer".  The term Hammer or Hammered was added when the "Mountain Dulcimer" suddenly became a popular folk instrument. In recent years "Hammered" has become more popular but the term "Hammer Dulcimer" is also an acceptable term.

  • Great Whirligig. I've watched it about 6 times trying to figure out how you made that mechanical hook up to make each arm move independently...I'm Puzzled...can you explain??????????
