Wow, thanks!! Very informative!

Utorak (Jamie/James) is watching This :D

Can't find the tutorial about amplitude. can some direct please.

Wow, really good video for people who are just starting out in the world of synthesis. I made sure to put this in my bookmarks toolbar, just in case I need to return to it.

This is a very good explanation. I appreciate how you broke everything down to cater to the people with less musical knowledge. Thank you this.

back to the basics, easy and practical

thank you, this was helpful

hi my name is darius and i'm studying a music technology course and i would like to answer a question for this video.
How does subtractive synthesis affect the amplitude and if so, how does the frequency get affected? Please email me back. thanx

That sine wave doesn't really look like a sine ;)
Anyway, nice video, should give people some starters :)
Anyone who is interested in the harmonic content of waves any further, take a look at your old math books and see Fourier Transformations.

the frequency is not from top to bottom, frequency is from top to bottom back to top. that initial waveform was also not a true sine wave, but for beginners this would help.
