Lots of rain in an 11 day span. Yes it was in the summer. June if I remember correctly. I knew we were getting a lot of rain but I never expected this and I really don't think anyone did. I've always found it ironic that this happened almost immediately after some of the local towns decided to disallow wind turbines to be placed there.
how did this happen, it was in the summer right? Was it just a case of to much rain in a short period of time. Sorry but I live in the south now and def. miss the mighty ol' mohawk
My little Town Got hit Super bad.....Are littel Leage Park Had The Duggouts.....There Ware Girls In the Teams From Like the 50's ans Stuff like that All in chalk on the walls....it all got washed away.....:-(
It was exactly that! And yes thank goodness its over! Wish we had taken the opportunity to accept the windmills when they were offered...feel like we'd have been aiding our Earth in healing. All very sad.
too bad it couldn't have wiped out the entire town.

Definitely a huge mess! I don't think some places have ever recovered. I've noticed some in Fonda.
