@Ian7570 all i see is a douchebag harping on one half-truth. 1. if you look at their WHOLE statement, they've been recording data since the 1980s and some of the data points are contaminated by urbanization, pollution, etc. of course you throw that away. i work in a lab and i wouldn't include cell culture data that's been contaminated by bacteria, you fucking moron. 2. technical limitations at the time reduced storage capacity. 3. <5% of total data was removed = insignificant.

@Ian7570 are you fucking retarded? no one is denying that the earth cycles through periods of heat and warmth. cycles that last thousands of years. the current warming trend is unnatural in that it is accelerated. it's entirely possible that this warming is part of a natural cycle. but a warming that happens so quickly that 40% of reptile species will be extinct in 20 to 50 years? that the earths oceans are acidifying too fast for fish species to adapt? yea, i don't think so you freaking nut.
