New Lost City Ramblers at the Delaware Theatre Company in Wilmington, Delaware, May 15, 2009. Concert presented by the Brandywine Friends of Old Time Music, www.brandywinefriends.org
Watch the lady playing fiddle in the video "old time music Half Past Four". Both of her feet are going. She's really into the tune she's playing. I remember an old time fiddler telling me listening to the fiddle tune "Sally Goodin", "Son, if you cain't tap yer foot to that you is sure 'nuff daid".
@ArkRed1 Probably just tapping his toes inside his shoes..... I remember my music teacher "Gutty" Baker saying that that was the "gentlemanly" way to do it...as a dancer I find it impossible!
Notice Tracy and Mike's feet. John's feet don't tap. I guess his music stays in his fingers. John rocks back and forth a little, I reckon he's got a tad of "country soul". Cohen's work over the years has been wonderful. The NLCR are the greatest. Your tireless work to preserve this wonderful American music will not be fogotten. RIP Mike Seeger. You were an icon in the genre of old time "roots" music.

Im happy to see them playing together, stacking chairs behind them, same stacking chairs that have been sitting on every stage since 1950.
