  • The yellow Massey tractor with a cab used to belong to the U.S. Air Force for picking up FOD (Foreign Object Damage) from flight lines. The big metal bar along the bottom is a big magnet for picking op metal objects so the metal clippings and so forth didn't damage jet engines that could ingest them while starting up. It still works too because the owner put pieces of metal on the road nearby and drove along and picked them up with it and it was real neat to see.

  • @doubledbbw Thanks Double! When I first put the video up a gentleman explained the mechanics of the belly magnet. I think it's an awesome piece of functional history. I wasn't there when it was shown in action. I bet it was cool to see. Thanks for the continuing story about this Massey! It's greatly appreciated!!

  • i love going to these shows do you have any maytag engines

  • @GarrettJDB His face turned red and he started to say something when another shopper chimed in....nope.....they wouldn't allow this junk on the other side. Talk about one pissed off person. lol You could fry an egg on his forehead he was so mad. Then, the next day (With two days to go in the show) he had packed up and left...lol.

  • @ZippoVarga It's lawn and garden collector magazine nothin but lawn and garden stuff.collections, peoples stories about how the found there tractors, dates for shows all over the country they have a web site and great people run the magazine to! they have a web site and a facebook.and your videos are the best!nice talking to you!

  • @GarrettJDB The closest I've got to a Maytag engine so far is a Briggs Model Y that replaced the Maytag engines. One day I'll have a Maytag, but I refuse to pay the ridiculous prices the people at the show were asking. One guy had a locked up maytag that looked like it was used as a boat anchor for 300 bucks for it. I told him he needed to go to the Exhibitors area with his collection. He asked what I meant...so I told him that is was obvious he wasn't there to sell but to show his collection.

  • @sheepdogjake Not that I am aware of.

  • @fordfanatic100 Awesome Andrew!! Thanks for clearing that up for me and all who watch!!!!
