It is. I position the zipper pulls toward the front of the zipper when worn. If you wanted you could always remove the zipper pulls and put something beefier on there. Did that with another pack... added 550 cord in a cobra knot lanyard. This is an awesome pack...been using it for every day outings and hiking.... really like it! Look for the full review soon...
