Interesting view.......but yeah, they were very much pioneers, no-one does this kinda music better. My opinion of course, but I believe it to be very much the majority.

I don't think that they are pioneers of anything. The Huntemann remix is pretty good if you would rather have the mindless knocking of the house-beat all day (or night) long. Underworld do what they do and some love it and some don't. Karl does some interesting little semi-rap, semi-melodious verse and the music follows along a la underworld. This is using electronica, not pioneering it. The album is pretty good, but it doesn't make my head fall off.

The best!
i just listened to huntemann's version of this, as per hasteros' comment. Its your typical-sounding trash techno, and it sounds nothing at all like this version. huntemann butchered it completely.
underworld rules.

This band deserves to be considered one of the best electronic bands ever.
All those pseudo-intelectuals with Apple computers playing in boring concerts should listen to this carefully and go home.
When I first heard "second toughest in the infants" in 1996 I stayed listening for the album over and over and over, and they influenced me a lot to make my electronic music.
If I could talk with them I would just like to say: THANK YOU FOR EXISTING!
(I am not a fan...)
