This is a video I made for a book report. The clips are from the Count of Monte Cristo Movie, and the music is "Preliator" by Globus.

  • You have to be an "over human" to describe in "video format" what was in the book. I don't think that I'll ever see anything more impressing than the pictures I saw (in my imagination) while reading this book...

Today no movie can compare with the book

  • Well of course not. In fact I feel that the movie could have been a lot better, if it was more like the book. But even still, I tried to include things in the clip that alluded to parts in the book they left out. (Like the gate, for example.) But of course the book is better.

  • @gibberish517 Books shmooks. Who cares about your imagination. Your imagination is nothing when ypou are being entertained by someone else. If Dumas was alive and could've made a movie you'd see exactly what you were supposed to. You don't imagine different notes or words in your favorite songs do you?

  • @EddyVitkauskasXband Except in some ways, the imagination can be much more vivid and unique than any film could possibly show. Not to mention that books aren't just about plot and characters, but about the storytelling itself, and beauty of the writing and the words. Books and movies are two very different, very distinct things that can't be compared so directly. I know you won't agree with me and that you're probably just trolling anyway, but just saying.

  • I love the film, "The Counte of Monte Cristo"!!! In the story, Jim Caviezal gives an outstanding performance in his role as, "The Count of Monte Cristo"! This movie is definitely one of my most favorite romance-mystery, ever to hit the big screen! Read the book and learn...watch the film and allow yourself to indulged in the accolades of the Count of Monte Cristo's love, pain, journeys, adventures and of course the mysteries that surrounds his story. I simply love it! - Mme. Monique

  • Awesome movie, almost the story im living, but not thinkin the same ending, left by woman, betrayed by friend, stuck in physical emotional prison, but w training and revelations from GOD, starting to see riches, healing in my life. Will i seek revenge? No. Will i seek them out? No. But they will soon see my name and achievements I'm accomplishing now. GOD WILL GIVE ME JUSTICE
