The internet is not a TV station or a news paper. An internet forum is more like people sitting around a table in a park talking about stuff but on a much larger scale. Sometimes that stuff is stupid or offensive or whatever but that should not be censored.
Also, with a secret list, no one knows what is on there so if they block politically inconvenient sites people will not know.
