if you thin about it, the 4.0 is the perfect turbo motor. Most of all them have low compression, 8.8-1 or w.e, they have and equal bore and stroke motor, the have plenty or torge and hp down low to prevent power loss at low rpm, and they still havbe the rpm l;imit to cope with the boost. If you get the rite cam, a good tuner, you can make the stock 4.0 a powerful all around fast reliable engine. and they have barely if any lag if you get the rite size turbo.
