your videos always make me feel better, no matter what. Thank you so much, this helps a lot. I was feeling so stressed out but listening to your wisdom really put things in perspective. thank you
@tedoymisojos Or I try to find the core emotion, and often it is fear or anger of some kind. If its fear I remember there is no fear outside of my head, and if its anger I look for ways to let it out and be. I often dance, or shout, or go exercise. Also waiting it out works too, but it doesnt work if you feel bad or guilty about the stress/anxiousness. It just makes it worst. So just accepting the fact and letting it be gets me very tired very fast, and the stress often goes away with time.
I've experienced a lot of stress lately, and when my anxiety starts building up, what I do is I call myself. I say: "Liz" (thats my name) "Are you there?" And then I answer "yes, I am here" For some reason that just cuts through my whole negative line of thought and I can step back. Other times I just give in to the stress and anxiety and I become so exhausted that naturally it just goes away because I can't keep it up. The whole thing is too much.
