@FreedomWagonFilms Sure ? Nobody knows exactly why nazis didnt .Some say a help came from russian troops from east frontiers, and also the german surplus line was dangerously long. But certanly, if there were not a massive attack of USSR along east Germany, USA would have lost europe and soon may had to fight the germans , in another round, with very inferior conditions.

Of course many Russians were anti-communists. There were pro-Hitler-demonstrations by Belarussian nationalists and by Russian anti-communists in all larger Nazi-occupied cities. I do not promote Nazism, but the Soviet Communist version of 'history' is just invented, falsified Propaganda. God bless you!

Over 900,000 Soviets served in auxiliary milicias, police forces, whereas 500,000 served in Waffen-SS, and 1.5 million others in service of the Wehrmacht - not all as soldiers at the front directly. You are a Brasilian. I am a European, a Dutchman, and a habilitated historian. So not millions of Soviet POWs joined the Wehrmacht, but hundreds of thousands. Whereas other hundreds of thousands served in the Waffen-SS, other millions as East workers promoted by Vlassov

@specops24th The mass starvation narrative is only true to some extent for late Summer, Autumn and (early!) Winter of 1941, not for other periods of capture of Soviet POWs. And your alleged 'joke' to a diplomat (sic!) by Goering is an invention and never happened at all. Like the Hitler Diaries and most (Moscow found 'unedited', 'original' only 1992 revealed KGB-held) Goebbels Diaries. And other pieces of 'quotes' from Nazis, like the forged 'Armenian Quote' of Hitler, equally ridiculous.

@specops24th Nonsense. The Soviet POWs were used as forced labourers as far as possible. The hundreds of thousands of Soviet POWs who died, died due to autumn and winter 1941 supply shortages, Wehrmacht fears for strenghtening of the professional Soviet NKVD stay behind 'partisans' movement' (not spontaneous partisans at all). But millions of them 'disappeared' only to become Waffen-SS and pro-Axis Wehrmacht volunteers or 'East workers' inside the Reich fighting Stalin.
