The 10 Commandments were 10 gifts from God, promising the greater gift of his son, Jesus Christ. The Easter basket symbolizes this with easter eggs symbolizing the smaller 10 commandments, while the totality of the basket, the eggs and candy symbolize Christ who was God made flesh. Peeps symbolize the sugary redemption, and the marshmallow symbolizes the Holy Spirit. I know you're Jewish, my man, but it's no excuse for theological ignorance.

sounds like we have got Everything around the wrong way - you have lent then all these sugar laden treats !! - maybe we should have Easter first then lent - that way i wouldnt put on 40 lbs during the holidays ! - it takes forever to burn off before one can look 1/2 way decent in swimwear !!
