the orch is crap.

lol the orchestra is fighting to be heard. strings are out of tune; clarinets are too mellow.
pianist slips occationally. the notes played are too harsh.
the orchestra is overpowering the piano, thus another reason why the piano shud be the the front by the conductor. strings are either too early or too late to come in.
for highschoolers, this is terrible; im sorry. i cringe hearing this.

I don't even know many high schools who would attempt such a piece, much less high school piano soloists who would. Congratulations on an absolutely amazing job. I watched it four times.

Next time, make it easier on yourself...and make it more exciting...by doing those long trills with the thumb and middle finger...faster, less tiring, more exciting, more powerful, better on a crescendo. If it's good enough for Gilels and Argerich, then it's good enough for you! Oh...and beef up your ending visually...everything was going well and then it fell flat on your last note. Make the audience think that you're spent! It's about music AND giving the audience an experience!
