@CallumJ230 I know, it's only because football is seen as a macho sport. There is 15-20 Premier league footballers who are gay but being told by their agent to keep it under wraps. I love football so their has to be many of others to.

Hopefully, the current situation for gay sportsmen will change soon! It is horrible to lie quiet and to live under a facade.

@gayissimo86 I think it will change eventually but it will be years before it gets anywhere near being accepted 100% into society. There are numerous gay footballers but will not come out because of the way people see football as a straight mans game just like any sport. Until more gay guys take an interest in sports more then I can't see it changing soon.

shocking, gay sportsmen shud be allowed to come out if they wish but also shud not be forced out if they dnt wish, having gay football leagues etc doesnt help tho as football and sport shud be inclusive not seperate and by standing out it doesnt help, more gay players shud be in pro sports if they gud enuff
