  • It's not a shock collar. It's a ecollar which is a training tool. All tree huggers should mind there own business and leave the dog training to the pros.

  • @jdzerdz Thanks for watching my videos. You are absolutely correct, it is an e-collar or training collar. Those that don't understand correct use of tools in training, usually don't understand how beneficial and painless e-collars and other tools may be. I wonder how their kind techniques work when the dog decides not to listen and gets itself run over or severely injured because they couldn't stop them? I know that with my electronic leash I always have control to keep them out of harms way.

  • @curlyfriend I do it all the time, it just takes much longer. Most people dont give that long a time to trainers, pushing us to move faster, without it taking a toll on the dogs. When I gave a 2 wk seminar in england several years ago, they were very interested in FF and electronics. Just think how many more good dogs could be in europe, that never make the team because of primative training techniques, and a fear of change. Thanks for viewing!

  • @smittyslabsThanks for your comments. It is nice to see someone can appreciate my videos. I train between 300 and 350 dogs a year, with very much success. I am just trying to help people succeed with their dogs. As they say opinions are like As..holes, everyone has oneAnd im not afraid to leave senseless uneducated comments for people to read. Just a side note the dog im working with in the video should finish his MH this year befor 3 yrs old. Good luck to all and keep watching for new videos!

  • Dang, you get a lot of hate messages on your FF and CC. If the people commenting were educated on the principals of it, they may have a different opinion. They may also have dogs comparable to ours ;). Anyway, keep the vids rolling, I like learning other techniques to add to my tool bag!

  • How would you train the dog if you live in country where an e-collar is not allowed, like in a lot of European countries?

  • thanks for demonstrating that ear pinching only "teaches" to open the mouth when the ear is pinched. "Fetch" has never been taught to the dog. The poor pup doesn't even know how to sit. Great job.

  • You can tell right away when ignorant animal acitivists makes a comments. You can actually see bull shit in the key strokes.

  • @jdzerdz That begs the question, If the collar doesn't delivery an electric shock to the dog what DOES it do?

  • Look at that dog's signals and body language! He's absolutely terrified of you! Do me a favor, will you? Wear a Bambi costume and play in the woods for this year's deer hunting season.

  • @P90Xfrenchi Sorry, Sony hasn't created a robot gundog yet, or I would! :)

  • @apbtdobe Anyone with a perception like yours should not work with dogs. You're supposed to work as a team with your dog. If there is a better to work with an animal, why not take that route. Create a relationship with your dog and that's where you will see the best results. Dogs are not robots. If that's your perception.. then just get a sony cyber dog ;)
