  • Yeah, when he said recruiting, i knew he was talking about recruiting 13 and 14 year olds!

  • What was the final with OSU? I got sick of IU's play and turned to the Giants/Packers game. I wonder if we made a comeback against Ohio State in the second half. The first half showed that IU can be exploited when we don't shoot the 3 well. We just couldn't get open shots. Matta looked at the film of Minnesota's victory over IU and saw that if you stop the open looks from 3, IU is very beatable. I never saw a team shoot the 3 like we did against Penn State. 3s in transition. IU must run.

  • @JayGatsbyOdysseus i agree.. its going to be a tough game today. and as far as the roster goes, a buddy of mine and i were wondering the same thing. we are going to have to big guys next year so thats going to be tough. and hulls and ferrell. its going to be interesting. i know the frosh will get playing time, but i know Crean will keep our experienced guys out there a lot. itll be interesting next year. might be our 6th banner year

  • @GooseMan232 I wonder how everyone is going to get minutes. There will probably be a transfer or two. Hope we can beat OSU again tomorrow. They will be pissed because they got beat by Illinois. I think Sullinger charges each time he gets the ball. he ducks his shoulder and drives into the defender, Cody Zeller. Zeller is just standing straight up. We need to shoot the 3 well again.

  • @JayGatsbyOdysseus Great 2012 class? Unbelievable class.. check the "we're back" IU 2012 recruiting class.. Plus Yogi Ferrell. We're about to have 3 Mr. Indiana Basketball's on the roster next year. Zeller, Hulls, and Ferrell. there will be a 6th banner hanging in Assembly Hall, VERY SOON!! let the haters hate, boys. because regardless of what they say. our boys will show them, that this is what Indiana is known for. Its called Hoosier Hysteria, not Wildcat Hysteria.

  • If knocking off #1 wasn't enough proof that Indiana basketball is back- how about knocking off #1 and #2 in a month? Or who is the best three point shooting team in the nation right now? It isn't the Kentucky Wildcats.....

  • @zippy476 wow dude you got pwn'd so bad on this comment I don't even know what to say...IU beating all and your dumbass comment sitting as a compliment now

  • @JayGatsbyOdysseus Perhaps but until you win something I just don't count it at being back. Its like Michigan in football, everyone is talking about how "we" are back but Michigan isn't back. Michigan will be back when it wins the B10 Michigan will be back when they win a Championship (if you want to call the BCS a championship).

Indiana is suppose to be elite, simply competing isn't having Indiana back it is having Indiana relevant.

  • @zippy476 The victory over UK indicates that, yes, the IU basketball program is back. We are competitve. This is all I was saying. We can compete with anyone. All we need to do is keep talent from leaving the state. Oden, Connelly, the Plumlee boys, C. Zeller's brother, Randolph, Kuric, Teague, Gary Harris. If players staid in state, IU, Purdue, Notre Dame and Butler could be in the top 20 each year. Indiana plays the best ball, from Oscar Robertson to Larry Bird my neighbor kid who score

  • @zippy476 Coach Crean is bringing us excellent talent and doing it fair. At UMass, Calapari paid 40,000 dollars for Marcus Camby. At Memphis, Calapari had another student take the SAT for Derick Rose. I don't even think Rose went to class. IU had a little blip with Sampson but we are on the right track now, competitive and clean. This is all I am saying. It is just like Coach Crean said, "They don't want us back." You are one of the "They." IU plays good ball, McCracken, Knight, Crean.
